Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Position Description: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive staffing strategies to identify exceptional, diverse candidates for jobs up to and including director level positions at the World Resource Center and national marketplace. Focus for this position could include technical recruiting. 

Salary Range: dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manages the full-cycle recruiting process across multiple functional groups, both locally and nationally
  • Proactively identifies and implements effective recruiting strategies. Continuously builds and sustains a high quality, diverse pipeline of candidates for future opportunities.
  • Knowledge of social media outlets to include LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, ect.
  • Consults with hiring managers and functional leaders on current openings as well as future workforce planning.
  • Proactively utilizes effective passive sourcing strategies to foster relationships with high potential candidates in an effort to plan for future openings.
  • Applies an in-depth understanding of the global business environment, specific industry strategies, organizational structures and compensation practices in order to effectively attract and source the most qualified applicants.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of Domino's external branding strategies including: competitive intelligence, networking, college recruitment, Internet sourcing, developing and maintaining relationships with key diversity organizations, advertising, team member referrals and community outreach.
  • Consults with hiring managers to establish a recruitment action plan and interview process.
  • Conducts phone interviews with candidates to develop understanding of work history, education, and alignment with position's key competencies.
  • Engages in timely and appropriate communication with all candidates, hiring managers, recruiting manager, peer recruiters, external recruitment vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Manages entire recruitment lifecycle including: pre-screening, interview scheduling, candidate feedback, background screen, reference check, drug screen, offer and hire.
  • Ensures that recruiting practices comply with company policies and procedures as well as local and national employment laws.
  • Educates PeopleFirst team on recruiting department best practices and stays informed about trends in wages, benefits and overall recruiting practices. Special Projects
  • Supports college recruiting as needed including: job fair representation, on-campus interviews, group presentations, etc.
  • Support PeopleFirst team on various HR projects as needed 

Required Knowledge Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required
  • PHR or SPHR certification desired
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related recruiting experience required
  • Experience with social media use for recruitment
  • Additional HR generalist experience is preferred
  • Solid organizational skills and strong detail orientation is necessary
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities ("multi-tasking") with a strong project management background essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience conducting presentations is imperative
  • Ability to professionally represent Domino's Pizza to external candidates and the public
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite is essential and PeopleSoft experience desired
