GAASHRM Event Registration Process Change
GAASHRM has made a change to its event registration process.
As a benefit of membership, GAASHRM members receive a deep discount on the cost of attending our events. Non-Members attend events at a cost of $35; Members attend events at a cost of $20. We have encouraged members to invite friends and colleagues to chapter events in order to introduce them to the benefits of membership and our registration process has allowed members to register non-members at the discounted price of $20 per person.
We will be implementing a change to our online registration process beginning in October, 2016. Members will no longer be able to add additional attendees at the discounted member event price during the online registration process.
We continue to encourage our members to invite guests and we are happy to offer guest attendance at the discounted member price. In order to register a guest at the discounted $20 member price, our members can submit a request via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or submit a “Contact Us” form on our website.
This step will allow us to ensure that guest attendance at the member price serves its intended purpose—to introduce fellow HR professionals to our chapter so they can decide if they would like to become a member.
GAASHRM is a non-profit professional association committed to bringing quality events and programs to its members at a reasonable price. Our discounted member price is a benefit to our members and their first-time guests. Making this system change to more actively control use of this member discount will enable us to continue to maintain our quality programs at a reasonable price for our members.
