MSU Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) invites you to their 2017 SHRM Conference: Driving Business Value from HR Analytics. The speakers of this conference will be providing their tangible experiences and best practice principles in using data to make HR decisions.
This conference is for anyone and everyone interested in the field of human resources, whether you are an undergraduate student exploring your passions in the field of business to a seasoned HR professional working for a thriving business. This conference will be valuable for helping current and future HR leaders see the benefit of transitioning from basic reporting and metrics to advanced analytics processes to move their businesses forward.
The event will begin on Thursday, February 16, 2017 with the Pre-Conference Mixer from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum (547 E Circle Dr, East Lansing, MI 48824). Both students and professionals are welcome and encouraged to join. Please remember to drink responsibly and to call one of East Lansing's many taxi cabs or an Uber if you are drinking. Dress code is business casual.
The 2017 SHRM Conference will begin at 8:00 AM in the Marriott Hotel (300 M. A. C. Ave, East Lansing, MI). Registration, complimentary breakfast, and networking will take place from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. Introductory speeches begin at 9:00 AM. The Conference will consist of 3 keynote speakers, 2 breakout speaker sessions, a complimentary lunch, and charity raffle. Dress code is business professional.
