2011 GAASHRM Wage, Salary and Benefits Survey is open for participation!!

Once again, GAASHRM is partnering with The American Society of Employers (ASE) to ensure the strictest confidentiality and strongest integrity of data results.

With your help GAASHRM offers the premier salary data source for the greater Ann Arbor area! Click here to see list of 2010 participants. In 2010, 62 companies representing 10,225 employees working in the surveyed jobs responded to our survey. This represents a slight drop in participation since the 2009 survey. For the 2011 survey, we hope you can help us reverse this trend and thereby increase not only participation, but data results as well! This year, in response to member requests, we have added five (5) new job titles, as well as economic outlook and salary adjustment questions to the survey.

We recognize some GAASHRM members may feel that they have no meaningful data to add to the survey results because of wage freezes or minimal changes to their salary or benefit plans, and therefore may decline to participate in the survey. If this is the case, we can assure you that we still need your data!! One of the main strengths of our survey has always been consistent participation by the same companies year after year. They constitute the constant sample of firms which provides for a more accurate picture of compensation and benefit trends.

If your company is a participant, we salute your commitment to GAASHRMs annual survey. If your company is not, we hope we can count on your participation this year to help grow our survey. As participation from area employers increases, the GAASHRM survey data becomes more valuable to all members by providing valid data which enhances each companys internal compensation and benefit administration effort.

Be sure to review the instructions which include the option to respond electronically using Excel and online tools. The templates for both the wage and benefit portion of the survey may also be downloaded for printing if you prefer using a paper format. Remember, ASE will gladly e-mail your 2010 survey data if you need it to complete this years survey. All respondents will be entered in a drawing for a second $50 gift card if submission is received by the FINAL deadline of Friday, August 19th.

The results of the 2011 Wage, Salary and Benefit Survey will be available after the October 2011 GAASHRM meeting. These results will be distributed to GAASHRM member companies as a download from the GAASHRM website (a GAASHRM member login will be necessary).
